Surveying
Field Run – Boundary and Topo Survey
Your first step in the one stop shop process is performing a timely and accurate field run survey. Our survey team gathers critical information to ensure an accurate civil, landscape and architectural design is provided to you the client.
A big priority of this initial step is to ensure everything is designed per local zoning and stormwater requirements, as well as discover anything lurking that could potentially cause a snag in the overall project.
Standard data our survey team collects in the field can be seen below:
- Topographical info on the site
- GPS coordinates of the site
- Property line bearing and distances
- Property line setbacks and ultimately building envelopes per local zoning
- Historical data on the site
- Existing structure dimensions and location
- Existing site impervious areas (in addition to the existing structure) such as driveways, sidewalks and retaining walls
- Additional site monuments – trees, fountains, large ditches, etc.
Once our survey crew finishes collecting all field data noted above, they pass it off to our in-house design team.
Our in-house design team converts the data to a very detailed pdf and CAD document, which is used for the critical game planning needed to ensure your entire project is designed and executed properly.
